SMS Notification Enrollment

DocOS Staff Alerts is the text message program from DocOS. When you enroll, DocOS texts you about practice work assigned to you in DocOS: tasks that are past due, deadlines coming up, and items escalated to you. That way nothing sits waiting on you without you knowing.

For staff of medical practices that use DocOS, sent only to the mobile number you enroll below. Messages never contain patient information.

The program

What DocOS Staff Alerts is

DocOS is practice-operations software that runs alongside a medical practice's chart system. It tracks the practice's work, including prior authorizations, records requests, credentialing, and more, and knows when something assigned to a person is late. DocOS Staff Alerts is how it tells that person by text.

Who sends the messages

DocOS sends every message in this program. DocOS is operated by Javier Caballero, Dublin, Ohio. Messages come from DocOS's own number and always begin with "DocOS".

Who receives them

Staff members of medical practices that use DocOS, such as front-desk, billing, and administrative staff, practice managers, and providers, who enroll their own mobile number on this page and check the consent box. Nobody is enrolled any other way.

Why you receive them

To let you know when work assigned to you in DocOS needs attention: a task past due, a deadline coming up, or an item escalated to you, plus a short morning summary. These are work alerts only. The program never sends marketing or promotional messages.

What a DocOS text never contains

Alerts tell you that something needs you and point you to DocOS. The details stay inside your practice's own DocOS installation.

  • Patient names
  • Dates of birth
  • Record numbers
  • Insurance IDs
  • Diagnoses or clinical details
  • Marketing or promotions
